Band Suggestions
If you are unsure about what kind of group you
should hire read our suggestions and take a listen to
some of the samples on this page.
- Soloist - Guitar or Keyboard. Intimate atmosphere with no dancing expected.
- Duo - Can be any two instruments. Guitar and trumpet or saxophone works nicely. This is slightly louder than a soloist with a bit more variety in sound.
- Trio - Can be any three instruments. More variety in sound and style, better for dancing. Usually guitar/keyboard, bass and trumpet/saxophone.
- Quartet - has drums, very good for dancing, suits a larger venue, most variety in sound and styles. Guitar/keyboard, bass, drums and saxophone/trumpet works well.
